Margaret was living with her widowed Grandmother Christina Moffat at Duncrahill, Humbie according to 1851 Census. Also in the house were Christina's daughter Euphemia and son Adam. My 8th great-grandfather was christened in 1662 in Humbie. He came to New Jersey aboard the Henry and Francis in 1685. He became the mayor of New York City in 1714-1719. He married the daughter of George Scot of Pitlochie. Any relatives out there??

One of his daughters, Jemima Ogg, died in 1909 in Edinburgh Infirmary; her usual address was given as Elphinstone Tower. Robert McKendry died in Tranent in 1920. His wife Anne Redpath McKendry died January 10, 1955 in Tranent. Robert and Anne were married in Tranent in 1897. The only other thing we know about them is that they had a son. His name was James McKendry. James married Agnes Syme in April 1922 in Edinburgh. Agnes died February 1938, in Tranent. They had at least five children. They had five children: Mary, Nan, Lillie, Agnes and Robert. Mary and Robert are now deceased.
