Little boy lost!! Robert Murdoch Montgomery.
- Gladsmuir
Wondering what happened to Robert Murdoch Montgomery? ........... He was born in Gladsmuir on 12/06/1859; the youngest son of David Montgomery 1806, of Tranent and his wife Jane, formerly Hislop. .... David Montgomery registered the birth on the 15/06/1859 and that is the last record, alive or dead, in Scotland or in England; that can be found for him. Many of us have searched in vain. All we do know is that his mother ran away to England, before he was two years old, taking none of her children with her. Poor little boy!
