polson/murray - Wick
My great grandmother was Janet Murray, daughter of David Murray and Janet Brotchie. Another member is looking for details about Donald who was my great grandmother's brother and he married Sophia Polson. Donald was born 4th June, 1813. They had issue (not named on the chart). He died in ? London. My grandfather Alexander Murray was a collector of family history..he died in 1914 in Scotland, long before I was born. He wrote down all the siblings , mariages , no issue or issue and usually where died. David's ancestry goes back another two generations. Some of his entries are not in the parish registers but as Alexander was born in 1841 I assume he would have known all these people and their details. Would love to exchange information. Janet .
