Robert Hay wright - Banffshire (BAN, County, Scotland)
A Robert Hay m. Margaret Grant on 13 Dec 1804 Inveravon, Banff; I think they had several children including John, Janet, Jane and Ann, all born in Forres. Was this the Robert Hay, wright, whose daughter Janet married James MacDonald in Perth in 1832? Any info appreciated.

Alexander Alexander born 1822 - Banffshire (BAN, County, Scotland)
This lad joined the Coldstream Guards in Aberdeen in 1844, married a Catherine Evans in London, and was discharged honourably in 1866 after surviving the Crimea and Canada. I'd like to find his parents and ancestry. He was employed as a gardener on join-up. Is there an Out House Durrclee in the area? There is an AA in 1841 at that address, but aged 13..... Thank you, Ivy
