My grandfather (John) was the son of William Clark & Mary Ann Norrie and he settled in Glasgow but came back to Aberchirder/ Portsoy on holiday and to see family during the 1930's/1940's. I am trying to trace my 3x great grandfather. I have traced back as far as when they came to Canada in 1822 when their son, Richard, was a baby. Richard had two olders brothers, Thomas and John, who were born about 1812 and 1817 respectively. Family forelore has it that George fell overboard and drowned on the way to Canada but I have not been able to prove that.
