Neil Jr Married Catherine McGarrity, and they had at least one child, Catherine Dillon who later married Samuel Asbury. Catherine lived in the Dennyholm and was a mill worker; she died at 15 Dennyholm, Kilbirnie, Ayrshire, Scotland. Dad (William Duncan Daly) was born in Kilmarnock in the County of Ayr at 00:55 hrs on June 01, 1927to Elizabeth Brown the wife of John Daly, (Steel Worker) Who were married on July 04, 1925 at Kilmarnock. The address of the birth was 49 Strand Street, Kilmarnock. Recently I became aware Dad also had other siblings, although I only know the firstnames of his other brothers and sisters. I do not know the order of their births. John Daly (mentioned above), Greta Daly, James Daly and Doreen Daly (deceased). This family were quite well known in Kilmarnock in the late 19th century particularly as they were employed by the railway company called something like Glasgow and South Railway Co. Anyway, Thomas Mclelland was appointed to a position as Manager of the Samana Railway Company of Santo Domingo in the West Indies where his daughter, my Grandmother, married and gave birth to my mother. He left on a ship from Liverpool in 1887 writing a goodbye letter to his wife from the hotel in which he was a temporary guest, prior to departure. Has anyone got any information about any other family members?

I'm trying to trace a grandfather William George Chapman, who in later life was also known as W G Chapman-Mortimer. He was born circa 1870+/-3 years and had a father George Alfred. His marriage certificate indicated his mother to be Elizabeth Jessie Mortimer. It is possible that he was illegitimate and that he was born to George Alfred in some town in Ireland.
