Kenneth Mackintosh,c1851.
- Friockheim
Seeking contact with relatives of Kenneth Mackintosh,Bc1851(said to be born in Grantown on spey,Morayshire on 1891/1901 Scottish census). Was married in first instance to Isabella Cooper in 1878 and Mary Eddie Ferrier in 1904 in Friockheim.Believe there 7 children to 1st and 7 to the 2nd(plus Mabel who was born to Mary prior to her marrying Kenneth).
Have had no luck in tracing any siblings of Kenneth although his parents were stated to be Alexander Mackintosh and Elizabeth Dunbar,There are entrys'in the IGI which show a Alexander Mcintosh and Elspet Dunbar as marrying(2,one in Grantown and the other Cromdale and Inverallan, this 2nd appears to have been from an original church record while the 1st is from a submission from a LDS Church member.)
There are IGI records indicating Alexander born 7/7/1820 and Elspat(Elspet?)born 22/02/1821 but I have been unable to find any entries in the Scottish Census' to support this. The 1861 S.Census also has only 1 Kenneth Mackintosh of the correct age(10)and it is clearly not the one we're seeking.
Would welcome any information about these ancestors.
