Lawrie, Walker - Tillicoultry
John Lawrie married Elizabeth Walker 1845, in Tillicoultry. (John's parents were John Lawrie and Catherine Ferguson, who married in Dunblane.) Who were Elizabeth's parents? An Elizabeth Walker was living close to the Lawries in 1841, but she would have been too young to marry in January 1845 (age on 1841 census is 10). The age may be inaccurate. Her parents may have been Robert Walker and Elizabeth Davidson, who married in Melrose, Roxburghshire.
