In its biography of Thomas Wright Hill, Oxford Dictionary of National Biography says that his gg grandfather was Walter Hill of Abberley who died in 1693. I know of no evidence that he was Walter, came from Abberley, or died in 1693. Was there a Hill family in Abberley in the 1600s?

John Stead, b. 1763 Bishop's Fromme Herefordshire/Acton Beauchamp, Worcs. married Martha Davies in Ludlow in 1804 at the age of 40. I would like to learn of his parents and early life. Did John have an earlier marriage? How did he come to be in Ludlow? He and Martha had 9 children born in Ashford Carbonell between 1807 and 1824. He was living with his son James and his family on the 1851 census in
Brumford, a widower, and died in Laysters in 1860.

James Freeman born 09/11/1886 Goldicote Cottages Alderminster. Son of James Freeman and Elizabeth Hughes. James Freeman Senior was a farm labourer. As was James junior when he reached his teens. James Junior married Olive Hephzibah Main of Craig Newport South Wales. In approx 1910. They had six children. Phyllis died in infancy. Elaine died at 10 yrs (TB) the rest of the Freeman clan were, Robert (James Robert Victor) Queenie, Esther, and my beloved grandmother Betty (Olivia Rose Betty)who passed away aged 93 in February. My nan had two girls, Joy, who passed away in 2005, and my mother Dawn. Queenie and Esther still live in Bassaleg Newport.

John & Marry had at least eight children. Mary E(b.1852) Hannah (b.1853) Thomas (1854) Harriet (1859) William (1862)etc. Thomas KNIGHT (b.1854) married twice to Isabella ?(b.1855 Bradford) & then Rose BADGER (b.1863)- lived at Foxhill Cottage Alderminster. Another relation lived at Goldicote Cottages, Alderminster.

My Jones ancestors converted to Mormonism in 1840 and emigrated to the States in 1844. Only 3 out of 7 who set out, made it to Utah. Wife Mary died crossing the Atlantic. 2 sons died in Nauvoo and father James Jones died on the wagon train crossing the plains of Iowa. Looking for others who made the journey at the same time.

I am looking for any information regarding Esther Robinson nee Griffiths bn Kidderminster 1824. She had 2 daughters Esther and Emily. After her husband John died, she remarried a man surname Stewart. Her daughter Esther also lived in the village with her husband Thomas Griffiths,also her cousin. 1901 she was working in a shop in the village. We're looking for any info on Richard Kenwrick, b.1817. He and his wife Elizabeth moved to Areley Kings where most of their children were born: Thomas (b.1846), William (b.1848), Mary (b.1850) and Robert Harvey (known as Harry b.1855) my great grandfather. We are unable to find anything about Richard, apart from that he was born in Pershore and he is listed in the 1861 census as a butcher. In 1851 the family was living in Lower Mitton, and family name is spelled both as "Kenwrick" and "Kendrick"

James Perrey was married in Astley WORCESTER to mary Haywood in 1816 he was a Sawyer by trade they then moved to Birmingham by 1819. THEY HAD SEVEN CHILDREN ALL BORN IN bIRMINGHAM would love to find there parents names anybody else in worcester researching this family.
