MARY HEMBREY THORNTON, daughter of Susan Thornton was baptised at St. Peters, Plaitford on 14th April 1793. The father's name was not recorded. Has anyone any information about the Thornton (sometimes mis-spelt Thronton) family about that time, and could Hembrey possibly be the name of her father?

Can anyone provide any information regarding Joseph Waite (or Waight), whose son, Robert, was born in Plaitford in 1693 and lived in that village in the early 1700s? He and his wife Mary had a number of children, of whom only one survived to full adulthood I cannot find birth and death dates for the others. Please can anyone tell me whether there is an archivist who knows the history of the Parish Church in Poole Keynes? I am trying to find the burial records for the family of the Revd. Charles Avery Moore who was the Rector from 1846 to 1854. I believe he and his wife and several of their children were buried there, presumably in a family vault or in the graveyard. I know there is a wall plaque to his wife Mary Nankivell Moore nee Tripp, are there any other inscriptions? Any help hugely appreciated.
