According to 1881 census lived with his father in law William Cryer at 27 Main St. in Bingley. I am trying to find the first name of his daughter who was married to William Wilson my gg grandfather. My great great grandfather is named on the marriage certificate of his son, Joseph Naylor, at St. John's Church, Birkby, Huddersfield on 26 Feb 1863. His occupation is given as Huntsman and his place of residence as Birkby. I have his engraved hunting knife. The son Joseph had been born at Eddlethorpe, according to census records in later years. I am seeking details of the parents of John Naylor, his wife and any other children he had. Also any information about which hunt he may have been employed by.

7th Spen Valley Scout Troop, 1930s - Birstall
I have the Patrol Leader's Record Book for Bull Patrol of the 7th Spen Valley Troop of Boy Scouts, it looks like it's for 1930. It has attendance and subscription records for January to May (possibly of 1930). For some of the scouts there is also the name, address, rank of scout, date of birth, school attended, employment, whether they had been in the Cubs, badges gained (1930-32): Edward PICKUP, Harry BARBER, Godfrey LONGDEN, Kenneth ASHTON, Norman SMITH, Leonard SYKES, Edgar PEARCE. MOORHOUSE, BAKE, ELY, et al. John Moorhouse was born in 1805 the youngest child of Samuel and Martha (Morrell) MOORHOUSE. His siblings were: Martha born c 1795, married Nathan BAKE;Ellen/Eleanor married John LOWCOCK; Mary married William ELY, Samuel married Ann BUCKLE and died 1831; Christiana never married; and a half-sister Susannah MORRELL who married William EWBANK, she died in 1818. John MOORHOUSE married Elizabeth BODDY in 1829 and they emigrated to America in 1832. However, John MOORHOUSE made six trips back to England to look after property that he inherited from his father, but could NOT sell per stipulation in his father's will. Upon his death it could then be divided among his children. Where is this property? In John MOORHOUSE's will it is described as "22 acres, known as the Clint Estate, near the Birstwith Station, Nidd Valley Railroad". The property included a house, barn, etc. Can anyone help? My ancestors Galen and Jane (nee RENDER)BODDY and their son John moved to Raventofts Mill Farm in the late 1790s from nearby Sawley. Son John married Elizabeth DAWSON in 1794 and they had a large family. Galen died in 1802. John Kipling bn 1746 died 20/2/1814 at Bishop Thornton (Ripley Castle records) within days of his wife Frances Knowles his 3rd wife, previous wife Elizabeth Herrington of Ripley, parish records of BT state that JOHN is the son of THOMAS KIPLING of BOWES but parish records of Bowes says that he died within weeks!! JOHN repaired and made the dry stone walls on Lord Ingleby's estate Please if you know anything contact me and solve my problem and I could probably add some more relatives to your tree
