Thomas Woollard - Brantham
Interested in sharing information pre1750, especially Thomas (married Mary Kempster) and Thomas' parents John and wife, Ann Bardwell.

Thomas and Ann HAYWARD - Brantham
There is apparently a stone in the churchyard of St Michael the Archangel in Brantham marking the grave of Thomas and Ann Hayward - the latter's life dates being shown as 1774 - 1812. If anyone knows anything that might flesh out the lives of this couple, who I believe may be the parents of Sophia (1806) and James (1811) I should be exceedingly grateful.

James Goram, born in 1700's. Shopkeeper. Father of James (or John James) Goram born ?1812 in Felixstowe. The son married Betsy Clarke 22nd March 1838 in Bredfield. Betsy Clarke was born 1810 Bredfield, died 7.9.1857. Betsy's parents were John Clarke and Ann Spall.

Charles Goram (1892-1956) was orphaned age 8 and (with his brothers?) went to live with a family called Worledge (Wurlidge) in Bredfield (1900). Son of the family was called Will and later he married Edie.

John first appears baptising 9 children here in Canham between 1612 and 1628. I am seeking details of his baptism, his marriage and his burial - also wife's burial. His youngest child, my ancestor Mary, was "of Milden" when she married in Edwardstone, perhaps he too went there? I would also like to contact any descendants

Thomas Lewis and Mary Syrett - Brightwell
Thomas Lewis and Mary Syrett are listed on Family search as being born in Foxhall Suffolk about 1710 and being married in Brightwell in 1730 where their son Francis was born in 1743.Francis married Mary Block in 1765 in Brightwell. Their son William born in 1785 married Maria gardiner about 1807 again in Brightwell. David was born ib 1813 in Bucklesham and Philip was born in 1819 in Walton. Philip married twice and ended up back in Brightwell where he worked as a shepherd and had several children. Does anyone know of any siblings in these families or anything about the parents of Thomas(born 1710)

Further research suggests that John Underwood was born abt 1759 and was buried 12 Aug 1831 in St Andrew's Church. Margaret Pratt was born abt 1761 and was buried 11 Apr 1841. They married on 1 Jul 1793 at St Andrew's. All info welcome.

Page family of Brome & Haverhill - Brome
In the 1851 census, John Page, a bootmaker of Thames Street, Kingston on Thames, Surrey, gave his year of birth as 1780 and his place of birth as Brom (presumably his pronunciation of Brome), Suffolk and I have found a submitted IGI entry of the baptism of John, the son of William and Phillis Page at Brome on 31 Dec. 1780. I believe John Page to have been my 3G-grandfather and I would be very interested to hear from anyone who might have any other information about the family at Brome. According to the family, there was also some connection with Haverhill and the occupation of woolcombing and I would also be interested to trace what this connection might be.

Crawford Crowfoot or Coofoot - Brome
I am searching for ancestors of Violet Ellen CRAWFORD born Brome Suffolk 18 May 1897 her family had all been born in Brome and I have found them in the 1901 Census. Violets birth certificate lists her father as being Robert CRAWFORD but on his marriage cert. he is named as Robert CROWFOOT. Also the 1891 and 1881 Censuses list the whole family as CROWFOOT. The CROWFOOTS appear inthe Census for 1871 1861 and 1851 but in 1841 CRAWFORD appears. Also in 1851 the name appears as COOWFOOT. Are these trancription errors or did the family have a name change? Can anyone help solve this puzzle?

I am looking for any info at all on David Taylor Born 1828. He moved to Dorset having married a woman called Emma Cornish b. 17.1.1828 from Bruisyard. They had 5 children Samuel John David 1859, Edwin 1861, James 1864, Alfred 1869 & Catherine Fanny 1871.
