My grandfather John Johnson,was born at Bedingfield Hall in 1908 his family had owned and farmed at the Hall for some generations. His Grandfather was John Barker Johnson(1816-1893) a physician and member of the Royal College of Surgeons. He married 3 times, Betsy Cupper, Anna Maria Mumford (widow nee Mudd)and Emma Edwards (daughter of George and Emily Edwards of Flemmings Hall). JBJ's parents were John Johnson (1788-1856)and Mary Ann Barker(1794-1877). All 3 are buried at Southolt.
