Mary Cook, Marlesford, 18th century - Marlesford
Mary Cook married Titus Pass on 25 May 1791 in Marlesford. Both were described as 'of this parish' (Parish register). A copy of this was sent to me. They moved to Theberton at some point. From her death registration she would appear to have been born in 1755. Please does anyone have any information about her or her family.

In the early 1800’s the Thurmott’s of Suffolk appear to have been clustered around Gosbeck, however Edward Thurmott, born 1801, died 1878, was a farmer in Mendlesham and attended the Baptist church at Stoke Ash. There he met Mary Kerry, born 1799, daughter of James Kerry, (shoemaker), and Mary Kerry, (farmer), of Bacton. They married in Bacton parish church on the 13th October 1824. Their first son, Ephraim, was dedicated at Stoke Ash in June 1825. Josiah was born 1826, Ebenezer, born 1829, Ann, born 1830, Thomas born 1833, John born 1835, Mary born 1836 and Edward born 1838. Ebenezer was a grocer and married Emily from Debenham. They had a daughter Jane Sophia, born 1862, and lived in Crowfield. Ephraim and Josiah were apprenticed to their uncles John and George Kerry, who had moved to Southgate in NW London. Josiah stayed with his uncle John and Ephraim lodged with Francis and Lydia Lowe, and their daughter Mary, in Southgate. Josiah married Mary Lowe in 1851, and had two children Edward born 1851 and Lydia Ann born 1853. Ephraim married Sophia Caley, in 1862.
