Looking for any information on the Crissell/ Chrysal (various spellings) family from LONG MELFORD. Have information sent to me by one very kind lady, but we were both unsure of one link. Can anyone confirm/ refute the parents of John Chrysall/ Crissell born about 1723. We think they are John Chrysall/ Crissell born about 1704 in LONG MELFORD, and ELIZABETH HILLS. These two married in 1722 so dates fit, but any confirmation would be great! Also looking for ELIZABETH HILLS birthplace and ancestors.

I have ANNIE AMBROSE born 1895- father WILLIAM JAMES AMBROSE b. 1852 ( (I have a birth cert for a "William" born about 1826, no father, age ties in with 1901 census)who married SARAH ELIZABETH IVES in 24/12/1875( I have mar. cert - no ages given )SARAH is also b. about 1852 acc. to census . His mother is ELLEN AMBROSE (if correct birth cert.)- can't find her with a husband on census/BMD site. My G Grandfather was William Percival ANDERSON b 1891 GY, NFK and soon after they moved to Lowestoft, SFK where the family operated a sailmaking and fishing fleet business. After WWI the majority of the family moved to Australia. Their address in Lowestoft was 44 Edinburgh Road.
