James/Emanuel/Eliza MOYES
- Framsden
Looking for info on James Moyes (born abt 1806 in Cretingham) and his children Emanuel (born abt 1830 in Framsden) and Eliza (born abt 1838 in Framsden). Found them in the 1841 and 1851 census records in Framsden. The census did not have list a wife (who must have died prior to 1841 when Eliza was 3 years old). I believe this family may be mine. My ggrandfather was Emanuel Moyes born in Eng and 1829 with a sister Eliza born 1838 in Eng. I believe their parents were James and Elizabeth (based on how their children were named). By the early 1860s Emanuel had settled in Detroit, Michigan and Eliza in Woodhouse, Norfolk, Ontario.

Gilbert family
- Freckenham
In 1901 my great grandmother Sarah Gilbert was a teacher at Freckenham school.Four of her children also attended the school. I would like to find when she left Freckenham and moved to Halstead Essex. There seems to be some mystery as to her being called a widow at Halstead but her husband was alive and living in Peasenhall when he died in 1920. I would like to know if there is someone who knows anything of this. Sarahs eldest son Frederick lived in the area and married Helen Moss in Mildenhall.

Leftley Fressingfield and Bircham
- Fressingfield
My great grandmother was Elizabeth Eaton (born Leftley 29th May 1862 in Bircham Newton Norfolk). At the age of 18 she was working as a domestic servant at Repton School in Derbyshire. I believe that she was probably the daughter of James and Sarah Leftley who according to the 1881 census have children Charles, Samuel, Louisa, Mary, Harriet and John who show up on the 1881 census at West Lexham. Was James the son of John Leftley and Ann Brown of Fressingfield ? Who were their other sons and daughters ? What happened to the members of all of these families. I believe many of James and Sarahs children ended up in Derbyshire seeking work.Any ideas what happened to James and Sarah? Did they stay in Norfolk or Suffolk or move to Derbyshire. Any information would be appreciated...thanks Keith

Seeking more information with parentage and extended family of George Keable & spouse Elizabeth Larter.
George Keable & Elizabeth Larter
Our earliest Keable linked to this family tree is George Keable, born in Fressingfield, Suffolk (part of the Hoxne district) c1815. A popular surname in Suffolk, our earliest record of George was his marriage to Elizabeth Larter, born c1804 (another popular surname in the village) of Fressingfield. The marriage, recorded in the Suffolk parish of registers, grants a licence on 4th Feb 1836, in the same year as their first child, George. Three further children followed with Elizabeth (1838), William (1840) and Charles, my 3rd Great Granddad, (10th May 1842, as recorded on his birth certificate, Christened 6th Jul 1842 LDS Fressingfield).
