MUMFORD Edward c1675-1749 - Chelsworth
Edward Mumford (baptism c 1675 not yet found) married in Whatfield in 1705 to Alice Nun. They then moved here to Chelsworth, baptised 4 children here and were buried here. Would like to hear from any descendants - and anyone who has found Edward's baptism.

MUMFORD William 1707-1739 - Chelsworth
William Mumford was born here, married Sarah Pearson of Groton at Groton in 1727, they baptised 7 children here, and then were both buried the same day in 1739, leaving all 7 children orphans including 6-month old twins. The mystery is why they both died so young and on the same day. Any clues to the facts anyone?

ROPER James (1725-1782) - Chelsworth
James Roper from Semer married here Elizabeth Mumford (1734-1819) of Chelsworth in 1748,and they baptised 9 children here (6 of whom died in infancy or childhood) and both were buried here. Interested in hearing from any descendants of this couple.

Argent family - Chevington
I am researching the Argent family of Chevington, John Argent married Susan Arbourn in April 1805, I know of two children, Robert born July 1805 and Sophia born April 1807. Robert married Mary Keates in 1825 and after her death in 1839 he married Anne Phillipa Newman in 1840. With these two woman he had 20 children not all of them survived infancy, but there still must be some one else out there researching the same family?

Am descended from Christopher Cutts (b. 1808 Clare) who is shown in the 1841 and 1851 census's as working in the Ironmonger's Shop in the High Street. Claydon - Early 1900's - Claydon
Anyone with info on the above village and the Garnham family. My Grandmother and G/Father Rosa and Richard Garnham lived there in 1907 with 6 children, Joseph, Albert, Alfred, Mary, Jessie and another born that year. All the family were taken to childrens home due to my Grandmother being admitted to St Audry's Hospital Melton, with depression she died there in 1949. Any info would be helpful. Prospect House School, Claydon - Claydon
The 1871 census shows three of my ancestors as resident scholars at Prospect House School in Claydon Suffolk. Their surname was Pride. The headmaster of the school was Jonathan Bickers. His father Jonathan Bickers (senior) is shown in the same census as a bootmaker of Paper Mill Lane, Claydon. Do the building occupied by Prospect school or Paper Mill lane still exist in Claydon? Does the Bickers family have descendents in Claydon or that part of Suffolk? Do local historians know anything about this school?

Thomas TYE of Clopton married Prudence WEAVER of Clopton in 1740 in Clopton. Neither were born in Clopton. Their only known son, apart from one who died as an infant, is Thomas TYE, baptised on Hasketon in 1756. He married Martha BLOMFIELD (bap.1756 Hasketon) in 1777 in Hasketon. Thomas & Prudence later moved to Bredfield where Prudence was buried in 1790. Am trying to trace the origins of Thomas & Prudence & also baptisms of more of their children, they must have had more somewhere. Can anyone help please? Or have a connection with these people?

My grandfather Daniel Page was born at Clopton,Suffolk in 1865 to Joshua Page & Keziah Sharman. His siblings wereJoshua,WilliamThomas,Arthur,Frederick,Edward,Maurella & Ethel. Joshua was born at Rishangles, and was farm laborer who worked at various farms from Rishangles to Clopton.
