Eleanor Jackson - Hammerwich
I'm looking for information about my x4 g/grandmother Eleanor Jackson who was christened in 1780 at Lichfield. I've heard that her family lived at Hammerwich Place. She had a sister Catherine and they were the daughters of Charles Jackson and Mary Hodgkins. Eleanor married James Moss at Hammerwich on 31 December 1807. Their children were Robert, Thomas, James, William and Sarah and she and James are mentioned in the 1841 census: he is an ag lab and she is a schoolmistress. By 1851 James was dead and Eleanor was living with her son James. I believe she died in 1865. If you have any information about her or her family I'd love to hear from you. Thanks.
