STAPLES, JEWELL, Bickenhall, Thorn Falcon, - Bickenhall
ELIJAH STAPLE and his wife Sarah are shown as living in Thorn Falcon for the 1851 census, both were born at Bickenhall, Somerset. The family moved to Walsall and Sarah died before the 1861 Census; her death may have been registered in Walsall in 1852. Elijah's name evolves to become ELISHA STAPLES by the time of his remarriage in 1865. (see other entries under STAPLES, PETERS and TRUMP).
