It asks him to come to church at 11 o'clock and sit by Simpson or Mr Chilton. The content is very religious and is signed "I am your true friend Mary Burn".

Fieldhouse in LIllishall
- Lilleshall
FIELDHOUSE--its a name with many variants--from the first
recording in England, which was in Yorkshire during the latter
half of the 14th century. There is a well known family legend
of Saxon Knights coming to England and selling their sword
arms. The first recorded in York was Rhandolphus Feldhowse, of
course it has many little word changes, from Feldhusen to feldus.
I are researching John Fieldhouse and Mary Wooley who married
in Lillishal in 1754. Checking the Fieldhouses in Lillishall
at that time period, i are wondering did some move there from
Wellington?.
We have Fieldhouses in Sherrif in Hales during the 1500s
but these appeared to have come from Rocester in Staffs.
