Trying to find relatives of Jane Bache born c1805 in Dawley, Shropshire. The name is also spelled Batch in some records. Her parents were Matthew and Mary. Found lots of Baches in Monkhopton but can't connect them with Jane. Would appreciate any help given.

Looking for info re Harriet Williams b. 1826 c. 18/10/1829 Dawley Magna, Shropshire. Parents Benjamin Williams and Sarah Garbett. Harriet Williams was convicted in Staffordshire Qtr Sessions for stealing (2nd offence) on 4/1/1847 and transported to Van Dieman's Land for 7 years arriving on 2/1/1848. Not known if she had any siblings. Don't know what happened to her family when she was transported. Any help appreciated.

Thomas was murdered at Witherley Hall Witherly April 26, 1927 so Emily was widowed within a year of marriage. I am a newcomer to the family history side of things and i am trying to locate information about my g g grandfather John Morris. He married Margaret Ellis at St Lukes C of E, Dawley, Salop on 31 August 1872. He was the son of a Mr & Mrs R Morris ofDawley and she was the only daughter of Mr & Mrs T Ellis, also of Dawley. From what details i have, John was born in 1847 and Margaret in 1849. Does anybody have any information of even a suggestion on where i can start looking. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

William married a Sarah Hawkins, but I have nodate for the marriage. Apparently one of the local pubs in Dawley had a picture of William Tart hung in its bar, this was a few years ago, but any info would be appreciated.

In 1901(census details) she was living in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, gave her age as 44 (born approx. 1857?)and her birthplace as 'Dawley'. Family legend says she was small with red hair (probably auburn); went in to service at age nine(9) years; had a brother who painted china and there is some memory of the town of Broseley. Any information gratefully received as we can find no Ellen Abbot or Abbott of her approximate age in any available lists etc.

Edith Harrington married John Packer in London Old Church in 1824, but originally came from Diddlebury.Her first child, Edith Packer born in Diddlebury in 1825/6 was my Great, Great Grandmother. Edith Packer "married" Charles Bond goodness knows when!! (have not been able to find a marriage!) It would appear that Edith Packer went home to have her first child, Edith, and be with her Mother, Letitia Harrington in Diddlebury. The strange point to this story is that the next child of the couple, Emma was born in London in 1844! I am unable to find any other children of the marriage! Is anyone else researching this line of ancestry? I seem to be the only person in the world on this line, I am hoping that this site will prove me wrong. Please help. Many thanks, Carol
