Iliffe Joseph, Robert - Glaston
Joseph married Sarah Buxton and had son Robert in 1817 in Glaston, also Mary Ann and John who were born in Belton-in-Rutland. Joseph was born 1768 Glaston, Sarah born 1768 Belton. Robert supposedly had a twin, they both travelled to Australia to farm but only Robert returned. Would like info on both their parents if poss and any info on the trip to Australia as am stuck! I am looking for the parents of William Berridge born in 1830 in Glaston, Rutland. I know his mother was called Eliza and he may have had a sister called Lucy. His grandparents may have been Thomas Berridge born in 1783 and Susannah Fairchilds born in 1788. William went on to marry Eliza Joyce in Morcott and had 11 children. I need some HELP! I am related way, way back to the Hibbitt Family of Exton, Rutland. In particular, if you follow the line through Luke Hibbitt (1835 to 1925) and Sarah Ann Rudkin, (Luke was my great, great Grandfather), going back through to Luke Hibbitt (1806 to 1894) and Ann Rudkin, back further to Luke Hibbitt (1776 to 1830) and Ann Tyler, back even further to Luke Hibbitt (1744 to 1798) and Elizabeth Newman, and finally to John Hybot (1690 to 1763) and Ann Tubbs. My father is John ArthurHibbitt (1932), his father (my grandfather) was John Cecil Hibbitt, whose father in turn, (my great grandfather) was John Thomas Hibbitt (1868), and his father being Luke Hibbitt (1835 to 1925, my great, great grandfather), the line then follows allthe way through back to John Hybot and Ann Tubbs as above. John Hybot married twice more, in fact Ann Tubbs was his third wife. He first married Sarah Peeregood in 1712, and had three children, she died in 1719. Anyone have any information on this marriage and family line up to the present? Then he married Mary Bottom in 1720 and had three, possibly four children, again has anyone got any information on this marriage and family line up to the present? I know that the Hibbitt and Rudkin family...

We have a family tree from 1700 approx of Dunfords in most village and towns in Rutland, but focussing on Ketton. My connection is that my mother, Dorothy King (1895-1986), was a Latimore (also from Ketton)and her mother was Harriett Latimore (Dunford) 1866-1944. Her parents were Edward Dunford and Sarah Dunford (Oxborough). I am interested in any history of Ketton, particularly old photos, and would also be interested to hear from any surviving relatives still living in the area. The Dunford tree is very extensive and goes to America and Australia.
