I am looking for more details of a John ANDREW or ANDREWS who was living in Belton in Rutland during the 1820s and 1830s. He was married to Ann (Unknown) who was born in about 1794 in Harringworth, Northamptonshire and they had the following children:- William (1818 - ), Mary (1820 - ), Stephen (1821 - ), Elizabeth (1826 – 1857), & Joseph (1830 – 1902). William their first son is believed to have been born in Harringworth so I assume that John and Ann were possibly married there as well. Any information would be welcome about this couple or their families.

Looking for information on Tobias White, born abt 1725 in Braunston. He married Grace Rose(b abt 1729) in 1740 and they had 4 children that I've found so far, Charles, William, Tobias & Mary. Their son Charles White married Mary Snowdin (b abt 1752) of Oakham, Rutland in 1778. Charles and Mary's son Thomas (b abt 1792) married Ann Walker (b abt 1792) in 1813 in Preston, they then settled in Barkby, Leicestershire. Olive Branch Inn - Empingham
My 2xgt grandfather, Robert PARKER (born 1816) was the publican of the Olive Branch Inn, Empingham from about 1870 until 1897. Does anybody know what became of the Inn? Does the building still exist? My ancestors include several Exton Families. Thomas MARTIN (b c.1831 in Exton) married Maria CROSS (b c.1831 in Exton). They had four known children: John b c.1862, Edwin Griffin b 1863 (my g-grandfather), Betsy b c.1871 and Ellen b c.1876, all born in Exton. Thomas TYERS (b c.1823 in Wing, son of Thomas Tyers) married Frances SPEED (b c.1821 in Exton, daughter of James Speed). They married in Exton church in 1847 and had four known children: William b c.1860, Emma b 1859 (my g-grandmother), Annie b c.1863 and Thomas b c.1865, all born in Exton. Edwin Griffin Martin and Emma Tyers married in 1891 in Limpsfield, Surrey (where they, and several other Exton people, worked in a children's home). (Emma was by then the widow of Richard Tyler). They returned to Exton and had five children: Frances b c.1893, Thomas Edwin b 1894 (my grandfather), Caroline b c.1898, Hilda b c.1900 and Emma b 1901, all born in Exton. I would be glad to share information with anyone else researching these families.

In 1871 John Walker, son of Joseph Walker, married Maria Tookey, John was a widower at the time of his marrigae. They courted in the village of Holton, Oxfordshire but returned to Maria's family in Rutland for the marriage. They returned to Oxfordshire after the marriage. Maria's father was George TOOKEY. Any relation of yours?!

Robert Cross - Exton
According to census entries Robert Cross was born at Exton c.1830. I believe his first wife was Mary Healey. I believe these are both Exton names but I have been unable so far to identify them.
