Thomas Samuel Blundy (farmer, Holme by Newark) married Elsie May Horner, producing two sons - Thomas Raymond and Oliver Cecil Patrick, both born in the 1920s. But we haven't traced back any further than that.

John DIXON, b. c1764, Holme Pierrepont, married hannah Buss of Broughton Sulney at Broughton Sulney, 19 Oct. 1789. They had six children, all born, Broughton Sulney. Three children died young leaving William b. 1790, John b 1796, and Thomas b. 1799. The mother, Hannah, died Dec. 1804. Thomas joined "Royal West-India Rangers", that were disbanded in canada. Thomas probably settled in Canada. Want to trace brothers William and John. Did the father remarry?

He married, as her fourth and last husband, Elizabeth, daughter of Richard Fitzalan, Earl of Arundel and Surrey, and had by her two daughters, Elizabeth and Jean, both of whom married and had children.

Buried 10.05.1732) and 2nd wife, Ann Pawson (Born Bingham, Married 02.12.1741 in Hoveringham and buried 20.10.1761 in Hoveringham).

Hi I'm looking for any information on Hawksworth or Raynors of Hucknall. George Herbert Hawksworth from Salford married Eliza Anne Raynor of Hucknall 1907 at Moore Green parish church. they had a family of 11 children and moved to Mansfield at some point.

William CHADBURN was born in 1842 or 1844 in Kirskby. He had three children with Esther COX : Mary Elizabeth 1865 , Sarah 1868 and John 1870. He married Esther COX in1867 (?) . Esther Cox died in 1874 and William Chadburn married Elizabeth born in 1853 in Hucknall Torkland. They had four children : Ada 1976, Ellen 1877, William 1878 and Walter 1880. On the 1881 census there is a Chadburn Frank Cox mentioned as being living with the family.
In 1881 Mary Elizabeth Chadburn, aged 16 had already left the house and was working as a domestic servant in a Farm. Aged 20 she had a child Leonard CHADBURN with Ernest Pope, son of the pastor and rector of Rempstone and delivered in the Loughborough Unions Wokhouse. She get married in 1889 with Robert William WILSON and had ten children.She died in 1917 and is buried in Wymeswold

I am searching for any information on my Grandparents. They lived on Whyburn Street when my Dad was born on 21st August 1953 but later moved to Lime Tree Road. On my Dad's birth certificate his Father is listed as being a Builders' Labourer but I have been told that he was later a Coal Miner. As far as I know my Grandmother was around 66 years old when I was born in December 1971.
