FOXTON - Thirsk
I'm looking for a burial record of a female FOXTON possibly "Sarah" who died before 1860 aged about 20. She was married to John Foxton and had a son William Foxton who was born abt 1857. Her husband John was 23 at the time of his second marriage to Jane Pattison at Thirsk Parish Church 28 May 1860.
John was born at Borrowby so it is possible that his first wife was from that area too. Can anyone help me trace this burial record?

Alice Auton, - Thirsk
My g.g.g.grandfather was born in Carthorpe near Thirsk in 1783, and married Alice Auton in 1803 in Thirsk Parish Church. She died before the 1851 census, so I don't know where she was born. I wonder if anyone out there could help me. I have searched the surrounding parishes without success

Would be interested in links with the family of William Perrit (b.1831 Thornholme nr. Burton Agnes, d.1915 Thirsk), son of John and Rachael Perritt (nee Collinson). Rachael Collinson m. twice (1)1819 John Sawden (schoolmaster) with daughters Mary and Eliza, (2)1830 John Perritt (schoolmaster) with sons William, Thomas and John Collinson. William was half brother to my great gt.grandmother Eliza Leek (nee Sawden).
William m.(1)1870 Mary Bendelow and (2)1876 Thirsk to Hannah Gill, with step-sons George William Gill and Charles Ingram Gill.

william haw innkeeper black bull THIRSK - Thirsk
I am trying to find out more about the family HAW. My gggmother Keturah Haw's father was William Haw.
On the census a WILLIAM HAW was aged 59 and an innkeeper at THE BLACK BULL INN, Thirsk. He therefore was born in 1822. I dont know if this William is related in any way but on the census for 1861 in sculcoates HUll Keturah stated she was born in Helperby. She was the wife of John Cassanelli labourer.(wrongly spelled Casssinella)

Hi, im looking to find out my great grand parents full names, date of births and when they died. all i know is they had 7 sons and 2 daughters - edward harris was my great grandad, he was the 7th son of the 7th son. i do not know what his wife was called, or when they married, all i know is they lived in derby terrace thornaby, my great grand father apparently had shops, one of his sons was named stanley harris, born 11th august 1926 (my grandad) who then went on to marry joan kemp from oxbridge. any help would be much appreciated thankyou.

Married Mary Jane ROULSTON on 8 Aug 1901 at St Johnstone Taughboyne, Donegal. Recorded as living at Legnabraid, Clonleigh Parish in Donegal Lived Brockagh, Taughboyne, Donegal through 1911. Injured in quarry accident (lost eye) around 1910/1911. Died Dec 1911 at Strabane Infirmary/workhouse. Children: Robert Alexander Dunlop b 1908 Castlefin Catherine Jane Dunlop b 1905 Castlefin
