Joseph Longstaff was my great-great-grandfather. He ran a very successful horse-drawn carriage business from Darlington which was carried on by his son James and his son Charles. He is buried in Darlington's West cemetry with his descendents. I haveother information about the family, but with some gaps. James had a daughter Emily, my great grandmother, and other children. WILSON was my Grandfather, Walter Herbert WILSON was killed in WW1 Oct 1917 and Hilda married so we have lost the trail but possibly to a policeman with a surname like KAY.
