John Doughty - Brockdish
John Doughty a farmer & tanner in Brockdish about 1810 to at least 1837. His wife was Mary Simonds (Symonds). They married in Mendham Suffolk. They had 12 children and were baptised at an independent church (maybe Unitarian) by the Curate, J Reeve. Did he die in 1837?

Looking for info on Hannah Grimmer/Honour Grimer who, according to her marriage certificate and various census returns, was born in Brooke in about 1857. The family know her as Hannah Grimmer, but the census info records her as Honour Grimer, but I cannot find information regarding her family or her birth. She married Thomas Turner, who appears to have been born at Hedenham, in London in the late 1870s and had two daughters, Jessie Louisa and Lily. Can anyone help please.

Elden - Broome
I am interested in the Elden family. A number of Elden's were born in Broome during the 1800's. James, born in 1796 was head of a family of Builders and owned property in the village which passed to his sons, the business being run by another James (the youngest son, a Master Builder). If anyone has any information about this family or know anything about 'a building used as a chapel' mentioned in James Jnr's Will I should be very interested.

I am seeking information re a John Roberts born circa 1800 in Buckenham Norfolk. All I know of him is that on 30th Oct 1820 he married an Avis Creek in Little Thetford, Cambridgeshire and had 8 children, anything prior to 1820 is unknown to me. Researching the Goddard family in Bunwell, Carleton Rode, Aslacton, Forncett St. Peter and Forncett St. Mary in Norfolk. Robert Goddard was born in Aslacton 1791. Children were born 1818-1835: George, John, Elizabeth, David, Rhoda, Robert m Mary Kemp, Jonas m. Mary Rockett, Elijah. Many of this Goddard family moved to Southwark and Lambeth in SRY in the mid-1800s.

Please does anyone know of anything about my Grandmother Ethel Barwick formerly of Burnham Westgate. Born 1883 and died at Chelsea 1960. She supposedly married R. James Brett Garner b 1843c - parents details not known. Married Louisa Lunn in Pembroke, Wales, while in the Army in 1874. Louisa already had three sons Albert, Charles and John. She and James then produced - William, Caroline, Rose, Mary Jane, Theodore, Edwin, Reginald, Christohoer, Alice Maud and Dorothy May. In 1891 Census the family is living at 29 Havelock Place, Lambeth. James died at Lambeth aged 52 on 11Apr1895. In the 1901 Census Louisa is aged 44 and living at 24 Chapel Rd, Lambeth with her eight younger children. Would love to hear from anyone who knows anything about this James Brett Garner or Louisa LUNN
