I am searching for information on Charles Hare and his wife Eliza, maiden name unknown. They were both born in Norwich between 1823-1827. They were married in Norwich about 1846. I find them on the 1851-1891 census but I can't find his parents names or her maiden name. The census finds them in St. Lawrence, St. George of Colegate and St. Edmund. Charles & Eliza Hare were my Great Great Great Grandparents. Their daughter, Elizabeth, born (1849-25 Jul 1914)St. James married Albert James Dunn in 1867 in Norwich.

Thomas Lawrence (born c.1775) married Mary Green c.1803 in Norwich. They later moved to Chatham, Kent, where his son, Morris was born c.1814. George, (my g.g.g'father) married Phebe Daines (b.1801 Taverham) in St.Paul's Church in Norwich in 1825. First 2 or 3 children born Norfolk, the other 4 born Chigwell, Essex 1834-1841. He traded as a wheelright/livery stables in Buckhurst Hill, later run by youngest son William (d.1915). I would like to find George's ancestors, but ww2 damage to records is limiting my chances. Joseph Burdett (bc.1856 in Norwich, Norfolk) was an Electrical and Mechanical Draughtsman (possibly in the brewery industry) who married Alice Baker in 1881 in Kensington, Middx. They had at least three children: Harold Walter b.1885 in Kensington, Middx; Daisy P. born abt 1892 in Queenstown, Ireland (now Cobh, County Cork, Eire); and Allan J. born abt 1894 in Bournemouth, Hants. He is listed with his father Obadiah OBEE and family in the 1841, 1851 and 1861 censuses but has not been found in the 1871 census. In the 1881 census he is listed as a boarder and married, but no other details are known. He may have had a family and it would be great to find out.

I can trace back to Robert Dunn, born c1702 in Norwich, then the trail becomes uncertain. My great grandmother, Jemima Dunn, born 1845, married Jonathan Jabez (or Jarvis) Howard, born 1842, in 1872. They moved to North Walsham where Jonathan Howard had maternal family connections, then to Bradford, W. Yorks in the 1880s, with their many daughters (my grandmother being Eliza, born 1875, died in the influenza epidemic, 1918) and son Jonathan Edward Theophilus, born 1882 (died of wounds received on the Somme, 1916). For over 10 years I have been looking for Thomas North b 1762 abt. I have traced his family to South Africa, USA and found relatives living in Norwich today. However I can not find his birth and parents. I know he died 19 Jul 1830 St Clements. He married the 14 Nov 1789, Elizabeth Dawdry at St James Pockthorpe and raised 7 children.
