I am trying to trace my Gt. grandmother Mary Jane Warth and Gt. grandfather Henry (Norman?)Emery. They were married in Hackney London,September 1848. Not sure of date but I think she was born about 1835, and he was born about 1818. They both gave their birth place as Kings Lynn on marriage cert.

I have a great great grandfather born in Kings Lynn in 1809 called Raymond Palmer Hunt. He married Martha Elizabeth Groome in Kings Lynn and then moved to Islington, Middlesex where he became a grocer/general shopkeeper. I cannot trace his Norfolk family but in the censuses I have found other Palmer Hunts living in Kings Lynn or born there and am trying to find out if they are related. Several of them are also shopkeepers of some type. Could they have been a result of a marriage between a Hunt and a Palmer or was it a common double name in Norfolk?

George Herbert Cawston - Kings Lynn
I am researching my grandfather, George Herbert Cawston, High St, Kings Lynn. In 1881 the census shows him working with his father George, as a working jeweller. The census also shows him to be 21yrs. He later had the shop at Kings Lynn, was married to Annie Amelia, and they had three children, Leslie, Philip Edgar, and Margaret Anne(who was my mother). He later resided at 23, Kimberley Rd, Cambridge, and it was at this address he died on the 1st January, 1946.I know that Leslie was at a bank (Swaffham or Dereham?), and had a wife named Vi?, and I know that she died under tragic circumstances. I believe he had children but do not know any more detail.

Abraham Baker was rector of Kirby Cane, Chedgrave and Ditchingham from 1700-1751 he was born 1668 in Mileham. He married Margaret Pycroft born 1681 in Ditchingham, they married on 4 August 1705 in St. Andrew,Norwich. They are buried in the chancel ofKirby Cane church also buried there is Rev. Samuel Baker 20 April 1709 died 10 May 1787, son of Abraham and Margaret. He married Mary Worts born 1707 in Knapton died 5 January 1784 on 17 October 1733 in Hickling. Abraham and Margaret had 7 childrenonly two lived to adult hood, Samuel and his brother Charles born 7 February 1713 died 1793, he was a merchant in Ditchingham and married Catherine Clarke. I would like to find the parents of Abraham and am willing to share the information that I have. Charles's branch of the family lived in Bungay, Suffolk in the 1800's. Abraham was my husbands 6th great-grandfather.
