According to 1851 census Sarah Walker (nee Shuckforth) was born in Hales, Norfolk in 1808. Does anyone know where they were between 1861 and 1871 census. I have found them in 1881 in Hastings, St Leonards, Sussex where Tom is a plumber, and married to Mary J Bodle.

Hanworth and Gimmingham Schools

Harriett Lound Cornish was born in North Walsham, Norfolk in 1819. After her husband, Abraham Beaumont, died 1853, she became a schoolmistress at Hanworth School. She was there until the late 1870's but by 1871 she was schoolmistress at Gimingham School. I would welcome any information about Harriett but also about the two schools in that period.
