Mckay or Goffin in Hakin
- Great Yarmouth
I'm looking for information on Frederick John Mckay. He married Sarah Flora Knights in 1890 and she appears in 1891 in Great Yarmouth with her baby son Frederick Daniel. No Frederick John, though he was a fisherman and so maybe at sea.
In 1901 son Frederic Daniel is in Yarmouth with Sara Flora's mother and Sarah Flora herself is in Hakin, Pembrokeshire, Wales, living with Jno Goffin. At least two of the children in their family have Frederick John as the father on their birth certificates, even though they seem to have first names related to John Goffin.
Sarah Flora and John Goffin married 1911. I can't find a record of death for Frederick John, though I suppose he must have been dead in 1911 for Sarah to have remarried.
Any ideas would be welcomed!
