Wonder if anyone can help with finding my Great Great Grandfather, James Horstead. I have found great grandfather Edward John Horstead marrying in London in 1868 - he cannot be found in London before that date. I have now received a copy of his marriage cert and his father is given as James Horstead, occupation Brewer. It has been family legend that the Horsteads went to London from Norfolk and I see there is a clutch of them in two villages including Aylsham. If anyone can help I would be grateful. As Edward was born 1840, I would imagine we are looking for a married just before that date and a birth for James of perhaps 1800 - 1820? Many thanks
