Information required - East Dereham
I am looking for information on my Grandfather Walter Harold Churchard who lived in Baxters Row. He was in the Suffolk Regiment in the First World War. He moved to Dereham after the war and worked as a Painter & Decorator with Godfrey Thompson. He was also a member of the British Legion. He died aged 64 in 1952/53. I would also like some information on Flossie May Churchard,may also have been called Stubbs at one time I am not certain. I am not sure what relation she was to my Grandad. She used to run the Rose Inn also in Baxters Row, from 1938 up until possibly the 1950s.

Looking for parents of Henry Godfrey - East Dereham
I'm looking for my ggg grandfather's parents and siblings. He was born c. 1812 East Dereham (1851 census) and married Sarah Ann Smith in Chalk Kent in 1835. They lived in Gravesend Kent and had Henry George b. 1837, Robert 1839, William 1841, Reuben 1845 and Sarah Rosamond 1847. Henry was a master builder and his son Robert a carpenter as were his descendents.

I am looking for info on my Scarning/East Dereham ancestors. ROBERT QUADLING was born in 1816 in East Dereham. He married MARY ANN in 1836 in East Dereham (she died in Scarning in 1875). Children: SARAH ANN (1841 Scarning) and JAMES (1846 Scarning). In 1851 they were living at 40 Podmore Common, Scarning. I am looking to find out more about a Hannah Parker who married John Atkinson circa 1870. In 1871 she is married and working as a ladies maid in London in the home of a Lady or Sady Mary Bisshopp.According to census records she came from East Rudham and in 1881, following her death in 1875, her son William Atkinson is staying in East Rudham with his grandmother. His grandmother is Susan Parker born circa 1809 in Kongham Norfolk. She also has a son Edward Parker (a tailer) born circa 1840 living in the same house and according to census records there were many other children. If anyone can help with this family I would be glad to hear from you.
