I have traced William Dodman and Sarah Thaxter back to their marriage in 1821 in Colkirk. William was from Horningtoft parish, and their children were born there. His parents were possibly Stephen Dodman and Elizabeth Reeve. Sarah was from Colkirk Parish and her parents were possibly Robert and Phyllis Thaxter/Thackster/Thatcher. Walford Taylor was born 1790 in Norton, Suffolk. In 1791 his family moved to Aylsham, Norfolk where his father, Samuel, was an apothecary/surgeon until 1839. In 1826 Walford married Jane Palgrave of Flegg Burgh, Norfolk (1785-1859). Walford was a surgeon in Coltishall. He died 1839 in Coltishall. Does anyone have any more information on this man.

Acquired "Postils" and 300 acres of land in Coltishall in the mid 18th century. He married Mary Manning of Great Yarmouth. His son, William Palgrave, succeeded to the estate and lived there until his death in 1822.
