My G G Grandfather was Henry Clarkson (b.1822). He was a goldbeater. He married a Mary Ann Delaney and they lived in Middle New St, Bell Yard and White's Alley in the Liberty of the Rolls. His father was Thomas Clarkson, a bridle/bit maker and his mother was Mary ?. He had a brother Thomas and a brother William - (There were 2 other siblings, but I think they died) Around 1860 they moved up to Scotland. I am trying to discover any information regarding my grandfather, Edward Bingham, b 1876, Lions Head Yard, Clerkenwell, and his parents, James Bingham and Eliza Ward. That's all I know. I don't know who James and Eliza were? They had at least two, possibly three children . James is said to have died young. Only other piece of information I have is that Elizabeth was known to be living in Upper Holloway in 1892 when Edward joined the army. Any help with identifying Eliza (Elizabeth) and James would be much appreciated.

George, who was my 4 x Greatgrandfather had an older sister Sarah, and they were both born in Margate. There is a memorial stone in St John's churchyard, Margate, to a William Allason, 1789 - 1850, who was a bookseller in New Bond Street. I am trying to find out the connections between these people, if any.

Any information at all of the family of William Barnett, his wife Martha (maiden name unknown). He was born 17 Aug 1845 at St Pancras MDX, she at Marylebone ca 1847 (not proven yet).
On the 1881 Census they are at 14 Clarks Building, Parish St Giles, Finsbury. William died 1901 St Giles, Finsbury. Some of the children were James b. 1874, Eliza b. 1877, William b. 1878, Henry b. 1880. There were a few more born in the next ten years.

Am looking for both Mary Ann Turner and Lewis Turner. We have come to a block on research as we think Lewis Turner took his wife's surname and could have been Lewis Moss. In 1881 census they are in Finsbury and have 2 children - George (my grandfather) and Emily. We have found a Lewis Moss in the 1871 census but nothing before then. It looks as if he could have been a traveller so was not registered before this date at all. Hope someone can shed some light on the mystery of why he may have changed his surname from Moss to Turner.

George was christened Nov 16, 1823 at St. Andrew's in Enfield. That's all the info we can find. We can't find George on any census. Ideas?

Their children George Frederick Kingerley d 1893, Walter Kingerley b 1898 and Grace Laura. It is understood thateither Walter emigrated to Canada or Louis and Elizabeth took the whole family. Walter Kingerley was in the Canadian Police. He became a Pastor of Westmeath Church. Would love to share family history with interested parties.

She was possibly married to a man called Stevens, they had at least three children. (possibly more the three we know) They are called Edith,Patrick and Ernest. The adresses we know associated with them are, St Dunstans Rd, Bishops Mews (now Coomer Mews) and Walham Avenue. Clara and Frederick had two sons George William and Bernard the only adress we know is for George and that was in the 1950's in Novello Street with his wife Rose Burgess who also had a sister called Violet.
