The next month their first child was baptised in Bedfordshire, and there they lived until Thomas died in 1792. Trying to find Thomas' birth/baptism and parents. Eleanor Farrant married William Thomas Henry Mann in 1845 and had 4 children by him. Around 1855, she disappeared (no sign of her death). W.T.H. Mann lived with the children and Emma Pearcy, by whom he had a further 12 children, but he did not marry her until 1879. Why not? What happened to Eleanor? Any help to solve this mystery gratefully received!

Can anyone help. My g grandmother Amy Jane Armstrong b 1873 St Pancras never married but pretended to be on her childrens' birth certificates putting her brother Henry as the father (occupation Commercial Traveller) he was only 13 at the time, and herself as formerly Gordon. Apparently there was money coming in from the "Gordons" Does anyone in a Gordon family have the answer? My grandmother and her sister were both born in Tunbridge Wells, Kent 5 years appart but with the same parental information on birth certs.
