Am descendant of Lydia Horton, born in BB in 1803. She had an older sister, Ann who married Robert Whitaker and several younger sisters, but no brothers. There is also a William Horton, carpenter born 1809 who lived at BB, possibly a cousin, and is buried in the churchyard. Need to link the families....

My family of Horsman appears in 1775 when Thomas married Jane Hunt. They had Mary,John,William,Thomas,Elizabeth,between 1776 and 1818. William went on to marry Eleanor Julien at Great Gonerby in 1805before the family moved to Spanby. There was also another John who married Charlotte Ringrose from Hether Lodge?? in 1815. Emmerson - Sayers marriage - Brocklesby
My ancestors Henry Sayers and Hannah Emmerson were married in Brocklesby in 1831. Their two sons, Thomas ans Henry were baptised there in 1833 and 1835. At some point the family moved to London. I have not been able to find either Henry's or Hannah's baptisms in the area around Brocklesby. If anyone is interested in these families in this area I wouls be interested to hear from them. I am looking for any information about the Good family who lived in Burgh in the 1800s. Taylor Good married Elizabeth Cawthorne in 1829 and they had at least 11 children, including William Good (b 1834) who moved to Kirk Ella near Hull, married Hannah Wilberforce, moved to Etruria in Stoke on Trent and died in Wales. I believe that Taylor's parents were William Good and Mary Taylor (Mary may have been from Maltby on Marsh). Any information gratefully recieved!
