Frederick Eugene born 1822,James born 1824, Ann born 1826 and William Smalley born 1829. Ann Savage died 1829 age 36 and John Eugene Savage died 1836 age 41.

On 8th March 1845 James ELLEY,aged 18 & George Humphrey TAYLOR were sentenced to be transported to Tasmania for 10 years aboard the ship "MAYDA". Their crime was to have entered the dwelling house of CHARLES BARTY of Sutterton & stolen, A sliver Watch, 6 silver teaspoons & 3 halfcrown pieces. Unfortunately, James Elley died on the Journey to Tasmania.

Interested in obtaining any info about HAROLD HARRIS (my grandfather). I know very little about his life before he left Lincolnshire to live in Hampshire.
He was born in Sutterton in 1904, the son of samuel and jane HARRIS nee WRIGHT. He enlisted in the army in Lincoln in 1921.He had 2 older sisters - Lilian and Ethel,and I know he was an accomplished bell ringer, apart from that I know nothing about him. Is there anyone out there that can offer some info? Even though he was born in Sutterton I don't think he grew up there!!

Charles Avery Moore was the Vicar of Sutterton from 1859 - 1875. Is there anyone living in the village to-day who knows the church and who could tell me if there are any Monumental Inscriptions for any of the Moore family there ?
