John Badley married Mary Johnson in 1788 - oldest Badley i can find. need to find where John came from in Lincs.
There was a John Badley born in Withern 1760 - that would make him 28 if he was the one who married Mary Johnson. At present i have no way of proving these 2 are the same. If I could find out what happened to John Badley from Withern this would be a help.

Hibbitt Family
- Stamford
I need some HELP!
I am related way, way back to the Hibbitt Family of Exton, Rutland. In particular, if you follow the line through Luke Hibbitt (1835 to 1925) and Sarah Ann Rudkin, (Luke was my great, great Grandfather), going back through to Luke Hibbitt (1806 to 1894) and Ann Rudkin, back further to Luke Hibbitt (1776 to 1830) and Ann Tyler, back even further to Luke Hibbitt (1744 to 1798) and Elizabeth Newman, and finally to John Hybot (1690 to 1763) and Ann Tubbs.
My father is John ArthurHibbitt (1932), his father (my grandfather) was John Cecil Hibbitt, whose father in turn, (my great grandfather) was John Thomas Hibbitt (1868), and his father being Luke Hibbitt (1835 to 1925, my great, great grandfather), the line then follows allthe way through back to John Hybot and Ann Tubbs as above. John Hybot married twice more, in fact Ann Tubbs was his third wife.
He first married Sarah Peeregood in 1712, and had three children, she died in 1719. Anyone have any information on this marriage and family line up to the present?
Then he married Mary Bottom in 1720 and had three, possibly four children, again has anyone got any information on this marriage and family line up to the present?
I know that the Hibbitt and Rudkin family...

BERRIDGE, GILBERT, TEMPLEMAN – REVISED MESSAGE
- Stamford
Elizabeth Berridge was born about 1821 in Uppingham, Rutland, and died after April 1881 in Peterborough. She married William Templeman (born ?1819 ?Northborough Northants – died after April 1881 in Peterborough). Her father was probably William Thomas Berridge and her mother's maiden name was probably Gilbert. She may have had a brother Seth Berridge who lived in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Elizabeth Berridge and her husband were probably Nonconformists (Congregationalists). There is a very strong tradition in my family that she was related to the Berridges of Stamford, Lincolnshire, but she should NOT be confused with Elizabeth Berridge born 1809 in Stamford, or with another Eliza [Elizabeth] Berridge, born 1821 in Stamford, both daughters of Henry Berridge and his wife Jane. Can anyone help please? Please do not contact me again if you responded to my March 2005 message (unless you have new information).
