Hunt, Watson and Coggan
- Scotton
My Great great grandfather Joseph Hunt born in 1793 at Scotton Lincolnshire moved with his wife Maria Watson to Canada in about 1830 with three children. Joseph and Maria married in 1823. Joseph was born in 1793 I can't identify which Maria Watson she was as there were two born in 1805 - one in Sleaford and the other in Friskney. His parents were John Hunt and Mary Coggan. Mary was born Mar19, 1763 in Epworth. Mary's parents I think were John and Sarah Coggan. Not quite sure about that. I haven't got good info about John Hunt's parents. His father was also a John Hunt, The only other John Hunt I could find in Scotton was born in 1723 probably one generation before unless he had his first child at fifty years. If you have any information regarding clarification of the parents of John Hunt, Mary Coggan and Maria Watson, I would greatly appreciate.
