ELIZABETH MAW
- Belton (near Epworth)
Elizabeth Maw born c1842 in Belton.
On the 1861 census she was listed as Housekeeper to John Whiteley, farmer, born Haxey.
She died 1863 either during or shortly after giving birth to my G Grandfather Whiteley Maw.
She may have the middle name Ann though I'm not sure. There is rumour that John Whiteley could be the father to my G Grandfather as his wife was not living at the address at the time.
Can anybody help me find out how to get more info on Elizabeth. I only got her name from Whiteleys birth cert and John Whiteley was named as informant on the said cert, no fathers name is shown in the appropriate box.
I estimated her age from the 1861 census where she is shown as aged 19
