Corden / Parkinson
- Grainsby
I'm trying to track further back Ellen CORDEN (b 5 May 1747). Father Thomas CORDEN but no details of when or where born. Mother Elizabeth - maiden name not known. There seems to have been a William and Henry CORDEN also living in Grainsby - were they and Thomas brothers? Ellen married Thomas PARKINSON in Grainsby on 1 Feb 1770. No details of his birth or parents known. I have seen a Thomas CORDEN appear in Nottingham - not sure if they are at all related. That Thomas did marry an Elizabeth BACON in 1742 so the marriage date does fit as the first of the Grainsby Thomas and Elizabeth children was born 1743. Thanks. Lis
