I am hoping to find out about any families that came over to England from Ireland at the time of the famine 1845-1850.My ggggrands probably came then and settled in Lincs. Ferry/Epworth by the time of the 1861 census.Names were James Morris and Catherine Morris nee Glancey from Kinmare and Creeve and John Moran from Mayo. Only 9 Catholic households in Epworth at 1861 census. All labourers.

I am trying to trace details of the wife and parents of William Fox born 1836 in Epworth. In 1881 they were living at Black Bull Levels in Thorne. They also lived in Belton where my grandfather, also William was born in 1876. His wife was called Ann Goodrich and was born in Epworth in 1837 I believe his father was Cornelius Fox born 1801 who lived at 110 High Street. He was a coal seller. Sarah Beckett born 1861 - Epworth
Has anyone any information concerning Sarah Beckett born 1861. Sarah was the mother of my grandfather although no fathers name appears on his birth certificate. My grandfather was born in 1881 in Epworth. Sarahs parents were Hannah Beckett and Benjamin Beckett.. Hannah being born in 1841 and Benjamin being born in 1831. Does anyone know what happened to Sarah as in the 1901 census there is no indication of her living in the Epworth area.. Any information would be greatly appreciated

On 26 Jun 1837, my great-grandmother, Sarah Struggles was born in Heckington. She married William Thacker of Ewerby. I have traced the Struggles in Heckington back to 1764. I have traced the Thackers in Ewerby back to 1690. Also Stennetts who married Thackers can be traced back to 1675.

My great grandmother Sarah Vickers was born in Ewerby in 1841. She married Alfred Derbyshire (born Sleaford 1837) in 1859. He died in 1872. My grandmother was born after Alf's death, so I am not really related to him, but have a soft spot for him anyway, and have included him and his family in my tree.

George Barber married Mary Ann Lowe at Fishtoft St Guthlac on 20 May 1862. On 1881 census they were age 43 & 41 resp. George was from Leverton and Mary Ann from Freiston. They werestill living in Fishtoft on the 1901 census.

Danby family - Fishtoft
I am looking for any information on the Danby family from the 19th. Century or any present members. Charles Danby from Wainfleet St Mary and wife Ann Eliff farmed 50 acres at Fishtoft. The younger son Henry Samuel Danby later appears to have taken over the farm. The story I have is that the land was flooded by the sea and was ruined, probably late 1880's - he left with his wife Kate Harborow, a butchers daughter from Boston and their young family to find work elsewhere and died four years later at Brauncewell near Sleaford in 1892 aged 45 from typhoid fever. Kate Danby and family later returned to Boston.

I am looking for BARRETTs in and around Fiskerton from about 1780 to 1810. Edward BARRETT appears in the 1851 Buckinghamshire census as having been born in Fiskerton. The IGI (from Parish Records) has an Edward BARRETT born there on 30 September 1804 son of James BARRETT and Anna. The IGI has a number of records relating to the birth of children to a James and Anna BARRETT in Stickney which aint so far away. Is anybody working on the same line? John
