Weston family - Broughton Astley
Hi
I'm looking for any information on Thomas Weston and Mary Messenger who were married on July 30, 1772 in Broughton Astley. They had at least 6 children all christen in Broughton Astley.
Thomas Weston - Christen April 18, 1775
Mary Weston - christen July 1, 1776
Annie Weston - Christen March 29, 1778
Thomas Weston Christen September 26, 1779
Richard Weston - Christen September 12, 1784
Elizabeth Weston - Christen August 29, 1786
Their second child - Mary found her way to Stanwick, Northamptonshire where she married Thomas Dickenson on August 2, 1801.
Also if anyone knows were the PArish Records for this village are housed that information would be most helpful.

William Higgs b. Bruntungthorpe married Mary Ann b.C1822 sister of Sarah Jane Burdett b.1859 (my line).
William and Mary Ann had a daughter Sarah Flude Higgs who married John Wallis. Am interested in where the name Flude comes from??

Am trying to find out more about George Chester and Margaret Dale. George was born in about 1675 and Margaret in about 1680. They were married on the 31 ? (unfortunately the month is illegible in the Parish Records) 1701 in Croxton Kerrial. I have traced 4 children: Mary born 1702; Elizabeth born 1705; William born 17112 and Margaret born 1714. Bartram - Buckminster - Buckminster
have recently started tracing my family history and am related to the Bartram family of Buckminster. I visited the village and church yard a couple of weeks ago. I would be interested to hear from anyone who knows any relatives or any information about the Bartram family. I know that my relatives lived on Main Street (1901), Blue Cow (1861) - (would this be Cow Row??) and Back Street (1871,1881,1891). Some of them then moved to Sewstern, Rutland/Oakham.

Looking for my relatives Frederick Brown, who married Sussanah Holt. They had one child also a Frederick who is my father, who left England on a salvation Armys( Boys for Farms scheme. I am looking for the birthplaces (presumably Leicestershire) of a Thomas Mariott and a Mary Bailey who married in Burbage in 1782. They had a son Thomas who married an Ann, whose surname I am also researching. My gt gt grandfather Isaac born in 1834, who married a Jane Beeson is one of the sons of Thomas and Ann. He was born in Frisby, along with more of their children I lost them for about 8 years until they surfaced in Frisby on the Wreake, having already had some children in Burbage.
