Does anyone have any information about Joseph Stevenson (b.1874)and his associations with the Flint family? His second wife was a Mary Jane Flint (b 1893) and mother-in-law Mary Ann Flint (nee Bradley b.1863). His first wife was a Rose Bradley (b. 1882). The Bradleys were from Croxton and Saltby. The Flints from Frisby, but both families ended up predominantly from Asfordby. Thanks.

Does anyone have information concerning the Welsh immigrant family of Edward Jones? They came from Carms. S. Wales around 1890, settled in Ashby Magna. Their daughter, Margaret married my grandfather William Evans, born Carms.S.Wales.He lived with his family at Holt Farm, Walton by Kimcote. Also came from Wales around 1890 and never returned to Wales.

Researching my family tree and have found out that George H Hall who owned and ran the Shoulder of Mutton pub in Asbhy Parva from 1930`s to 1950`s is related.
George was born in 1893 and was married to Lois Ada.

I have Timothy HILL, a brewer born c1773 in Leicestershire. He married Mary BATES in Ashby in 1803. Children incl. Timothy, Isaac, Catherine, Jane, John, Thomas, Joseph and more. I know that in 1841 Timothy Mary Thomas Isaac and Catherine were in Stoke on Trent. Timothy and Mary returned to Ashby sometime between 1841 & 1851. All their sons seem to have been plasterers. Would love to hear from anyone with a connection or any further information.
