Crows Camp, Bishopsbourne - Bishopsbourne
My ancestor David Foad 1802-1874 lived at the above address from at least 1836-1874 but apart from a Crows Camp Road, I cannot find where exactly he may have lived. Does anyone have any local knowledge of the area who can point me in the right direction. Many Thanks

I am trying to find out more about Henry Bent Ferne, married to Jane (nee Malyon)who lived at Maidenstone House 35 Maidenstone Hill Blackheath/Greenwich from about 1815 to his death in May 1836 aged 75. He had 8 daughters and 1 son and from his will had considerable money and property though it is not clear from what source! He described himself as a "gentleman". Can anyone throw any further light upon him please.

Seek any & all information regarding above. Birth, marriage, death, decendents. In 1821/26 was captain of "Lady Blackwood" of Calcutta engaged in trade India/Mexico/Chile. In 1838 was living (perhaps retired) at Home Cottage (perhaps #18 Blackheath Park in BH). In 1821/22 sailed "Lady Blackwood" jury rigged from Phillipine Islands to Sandwich Islands (Hawaii) to coast of northern California where the Russian American Fur Company had a station and made sufficient repairs for her to proceed to Mexico. That's a journey of 6,000/10,000 miles without masts or rigging!!! Am writing historical paper on the ship and Capt Hall. Interested in his burial place (wish to visit). I have no middle initial and simply nothing about him other than extract of ship's log whilst in California June / July 1822. The log appears as an Appendix to "History of Upper & Lower California" by Alexander Forbes published London, 1839. ANY info greatly appreciated. I engaged a London genealogist with little to no result.

Samuel Cage was born in Blean 1823. In 1848 he married Mary Ann Ashbee b1825 Whitstable. On 1861 census (indexed Cager) they are living at Ellen Dane Farm, Dunkirk and Samuel is a farm bailiff. By 1871 the family live at Canterbury Road, Bostal Hill, Whitstable and Samuel has been demoted to Ag Lab. His wife is now Maria b1818 Dunkirk. These must be two different women but I cannot find the death of Mary Ann or the marriage to Maria. Can anyone help?

Daniel Wise and wife Mary ? had five children - William b.?, Daniel b.?, Henry b.1752, Mary b.1754 & Thomas b.1757. Henry, Mary & Thomas were all born at Borden. Daniel(Senior)was a long-term tenant of 'Posiers' of Borden, which was later bought by his son Henry. Henry married Frances Chapman at Ashford in 1786 and they had 12 children - 9 of whom survived. Frances b.1789, Henry b.1790, George b.1793, Chapman b.1794, Edwin b.1798, John & William (twins)b.1800, Frederick b.1801 & David b.1804. Henry, Chapman and Edwin were all in the Royal Navy. George, John and William went to Australia. Frances married James Michael Duvard and they had one daughter - Primogene. Frederick married Maria ? and it is thought that their two sons, Frederick Henry and George also went to Australia. The Wise's were a prominent family in Borden and Henry left a very sizeable estate when he died in 1815. If anyone can help with additional information I'd love to hear from you.
