Eves, Goord - Bexley
Looking for the origins and ancestors of William Eves born about 1805-1810 in Kent. He married Sarah PARKS in Cranbrook in 1831, and baptised 5 children there before migrating to NZ in 1842. I have plenty of information about the NZ descendants. William was not baptised in Cranbrook. Census and marriage records show that he was not the William baptised in Wilmington in 1809 (see census), nor in Strood in 1805 (see 1851 census), nor in 1805 in West Kingsdown (see census). But he may be the one baptised in either Bexley in 1809 (son of William Eves and Ann Goord or Goorf) or Brookland in 1808. Prior to about 1780, the Bexley Eves seem to be an offshoot of the Wilmington Eves families. Would like to hear from anyone researching any Eves families in Kent, especially in the vacinity of Cranbrook, Bexley, and Brookland. Eventually hoping to eliminate all but one William Eves from the picture!

Samuel Crutchfield 1801 - Bexley
Hi I was wondering if anyone has any information as to where Samuel Crutchfield was born. On the 1841 census he is seen living in the Belle Grove area of Bexley with his wife Maria and their children, but he has said no to being born in the county of Kent and they say he was born in 1806 but his death cert 1847 says he was 46 when he died so that means he was born in 1801 and I have no idea where.
I would be gratful for any help and information and thanks,
Anne
