Their daughters Sarah & Elizabeth were born in England. The family along with Jane's daughter from first marriage, Annie Castle Kennedy immigrated to the United States and settled in Fulton, Callaway, Missouri in 1874. From my research thus far it appears that his brother William had already immigrated to the United States several years earlier as he was married 8 Dec 1870 in Callaway County Missouri. At the time of the marriage Michael was a Private with the Royal Berkshire Regiment stationed at Moore Barracks, Shorncliffe. Ellen and Michael had a daughter Ann (possibly Teresa Ann) born in October 1939; and a son James born around 1940-1942. James was adopted out (possibly from birth). He was buried in Woodford, Essex. He was a stockbroker by trade and he lived and worked in London until around 1812/13. He was married to Olive Nailor and they had 3 children, Frederick John, William Joseph and Catherine.
