Can anyone tell me more about Sir Anthony Palmer who was buried in Chilham with his wife Margaret Digges.I know most of the history of the Digges of Chilham but am looking mainly at Sir Anthony and his roots.I know he was the son of John of Hartlip who was in turn the brother of William of Snodland.This was around the latter half of the 16th century and the beginning of the 17th century.

John Norris born 1767 died 1845 at Chillenden. One known son, Thomas Norris bpt 27 May 1816 at Rowling. Did Thomas have any siblings? Thomas married Susannah Holbourn in 1837 and had 7 children. Elizabeth 1838 and Stephen 1841 were born in Nonington. Thomas 1844, Ann 1846, Susannah 1849, Mary Ann 1852 and John 1854 were born in Chillenden. Any info most welcome.

Sir Nicholas Bacon was born at Chislehurst, Kent in 1509 and died at London 20th February 1579. An English statesman, father of Francis Bacon. He was graduated B.A. at Corpus Christi, Cambridge in 1527, and was called to the Bar in 1533, became solicitor of the Court of Augmentations in 1537, Attorney of the Court of Wards and Liveries in 1546, and was Lord Keeper of the Great Seal from 22nd December 1558 to his death, exercising after 14th April 1559 the jurisdiction of Lord Chancellor.

Grace Edith Sainsbury:
In the 1881 Census she is living with her family in Sidcup, Kent and in the 1891 Census she is in the Stockwell Orphange, Kennington, London.
Winifred Sainsbury:
In the 1881 Census she is living with her family in Sidcup, Kent. In the 1891 Census she is living at the Josiah Mason Orphange, Birmingham.
In the 1901 Census she is in Foots Cray, Kent working as a Servant.
Both girls' place of birth is given as Chislehurst, Kent in the 1881 Census.
These ladies are my great aunts... I would love to know what happened to them.
UPDATE: Winifred Sainsbury married Alexander Newton Watt in 1907. I would like to know if they had a family.

Emily married my grandfather Joseph Williams 27th December 1937 in London they were both in service and living at 27 Tenison Street London se1.The moved around a lot.
i am trying to find out wha happened to then after their house in Swansea was bombed and why Joseph Wiliams disappeared after leaving the family, after having her our daughters taken from her Emily shows up and is living with a Henry J Bishop at Dishley street Leominster. she died in 1956 at Burghill hospital.

My grandmother; Eva Jane(born 20.09.1872)... married my grandfather Alfred Kimble(born 14.02.1869) in Chobham on 14th Nov.1900. I assume Eva Jane (Surname unknown)came from around Chobham. They later moved to Hove, where Alfred became a coachman; they were both probably in service in Hove, Sussex. Addresses I have in Hove include Byron Street and Orchard Avenue, Hove 4. Was this a retiremant address?
Offspring include Jack a brother who died young, my father Eric Robert Henry, his sisters Mildred (called Bobby) and Kathleen or Kathrene(Kay) Both stayed in the Brighton/Hove/Portslade area but I do not have their married names. Another name connected to the family is Mr Goldthorpe. Does anyone have more details either in Chobham or in Hove, Sussex.

I am currently trying to obtain more information about my great, great grandparents - Edward Still and Ann Still (late Jepsup formerly Jenner)
They were living in Cowden Kent in 1842 when a daughter, Hannah (my great grandmother) was born - on 20thSeptember to be precise.
I have not been able to find out any more about the Stills despite checking census from 1841 to 1891.
Hannah married Robert Hodge and lived in Edenbridge Kent. Her daughter Harriet Ann, my grandmother, emigrated to Australia with her husband, James Henry Stevens, and five of her children in 1911. My father was her youngest child born in Australia in 1914.

My 6x great grandfather was Michael "Mickie" Mitchell born in Cowden, Kent in about 1796. He married Jane Miles from Hartfield, Sussex, and they had my 5x Great grandmother Elizabeth Mitchell, and a Son Joseph Mitchell.
