Hello, I am trying to find out more info on a HENRY PARKER poss born 1774-1777 not sure of date. He married an ELIZABETH then moved to RAMSEY, they had 3 boys that I am certain of Thomas, William and John all boys baptised in Ramsey. 1841 census ages them both at 60 (always rounded +/-)but in 1851 Henry is aged 77, I believe that Elizabeth died in 1845 aged 72 and is buried at Ramsey. I can not find a marriage for them in Ramsey so assume it could be Alconbury. Thanks Angeline

I have traced as far as Edward Tolliday b 1823/5 in Alconbury, married 1855 Huntingdon ( to Mary Ann Coleman) and died Huntingdon 1893. His father is named as Edward Tolliday on their marriage certificate. Looks like they had 11 children, most of whom were born in Alconbury.

I am trying to trace the descendants of Harry Abbott of Alconbury (1859-?), son of John Abbott and Martha Cade and brother of Charlotte Abbott. Harry was a carpenter who went up to London for a while but had returned to Huntingdonshire by 1901 with his wife, Eliza, and children Arthur, Martha, Marjorie and Nellie.

I am looking for my g grandfather John Christopher. He says on the census that he was born in Alwalton between 1823 and 1826 but there is no record of him there. He married Sarah Richardson in Stokesley on 25.3.1844 (he gives his father's name as John and says that he is a labourer). John and Sarah later moved to Lincoln with their children. John was a potter by trade.

Looking for any information on the birth and parents of Edward Davey (c. 1823-c. 1900). Edward was born in Warmington, Northamptonshire but moved to Alwalton sometime after his marriage in 1853 to Caroline Jelley. He and his family lived in the "Manor House" and was a farmer of 200 acres. I've found him the 1861, 1871, and 1881 censuses (always in the Manor House, Alwalton), but I can't find him in the 1891 census. He died in 1900 in Peterborough. His children are Arthur (1862-pos. 1887), Agnes (1856-after 1881), May (1860-?), Mary (1869-1903), Edward (1867-1953), and Eliza (1858-pos. 1908), all born in Alwalton. Mary married George Upex. Edward married Laura G. (unknown surname) c. 1888. She died prior to 1901, and he remarried Fanny Carter in 1901. I have no definite information on the other children.
